Notes on Teams of Interest
William & Mary – Loss to UNC-Wilmington drops Tribe to 8 seed. Still have 2 top 50 RPI wins and 7-2 road record to fall back on.
UAB – SOS at 148. Next test will be against Marshall on the 23rd.
Texas A&M – Road games against Kansas St and Texas this week will provide opportunity for seed advancement.
Virginia Tech – Lost ACC opener to UNC. Games against Miami and Florida St this week will help to sort out ACC bubble teams.
Clemson – 3 of next 4 against UNC, GT, and Duke. 2 wins would solidify seeding.
Michigan St – Seeding being held down by 4-3 record in road and neutral court games. Next road game is at Minnesota on the 23rd.
Vanderbilt – Road games this week against Alabama and South Carolina will help define SEC bubble.
Notre Dame – Wins against South Florida and West Virginia propel Notre Dame into bracket this week. A road win against Cincinnati on Saturday would help tourney resume.
VCU – Losses to Northeastern and Drexel drop Rams out of bracket. Will need to go nearly perfect from here to get at-large consideration.
